Repair or Replace?

We'll always tell you if a repair will get you through another season. Replacement usually makes more sense when:

  • The furnace is 10–15 years old or more — at that age, repair costs often stop making sense on such aged equipment
  • You've needed more than one significant repair in the last couple of years
  • The heat exchanger is cracked or there's a carbon monoxide concern
  • Some rooms never get warm no matter how the thermostat is set
  • Heating bills keep climbing while your usage stays the same

If you're not sure, start with a furnace repair visit and we'll give you an honest read on what your current unit has left.

Sized for Your Home, Not Guessed

Every installation starts with a load calculation based on your home's actual square footage, insulation, windows, and duct layout. A furnace that's too big short-cycles and wears out early; one that's too small runs nonstop and still leaves cold rooms. Getting the size right is the single biggest factor in comfort and equipment life.

Efficiency and Brands

Many Wasatch Front homes are still running furnaces well below today's efficiency standards — an expensive gap during inversion season, when furnaces run around the clock. As a factory-authorized dealer we install Trane, Carrier, Lennox, and Mitsubishi systems, and we'll lay out the efficiency and cost tradeoffs in plain terms so you can choose what fits your budget. Ask us about current utility and manufacturer rebates.

Financing, Permits, and Warranty

We offer financing through Synchrony Bank, including 0%-interest plans for a set term as well as traditional fixed-interest options. We pull the required permit and schedule the inspection, and back every install with a full 1-year parts and labor warranty and a lifetime workmanship guarantee on the installation, on top of the manufacturer's equipment warranty. Most single-system installs take one day.

Furnace Installation Questions, Answered

Should I repair or replace my furnace?

We'll always tell you if a repair will get you through another season. Replacement usually makes more sense when the furnace is 10 to 15 years old or more, because at that age repair costs often don't make sense on such aged equipment. It's also worth considering if you've needed more than one significant repair in the last couple of years, the heat exchanger is cracked or there's a carbon monoxide concern, some rooms never get warm, or heating bills keep climbing while your usage stays the same. If you're not sure, start with a furnace repair visit and we'll give you an honest read on what your current unit has left.

How long does a furnace installation take?

Most single-system installs take one day.

How do you decide what size furnace I need?

Every installation starts with a load calculation based on your home's actual square footage, insulation, windows and duct layout. A furnace that's too big short-cycles and wears out early, and one that's too small runs nonstop and still leaves cold rooms.

Which furnace brands do you install?

As a factory-authorized dealer we install Trane, Carrier, Lennox and Mitsubishi systems, and we'll lay out the efficiency and cost tradeoffs in plain terms so you can choose what fits your budget.

Do you offer financing on a new furnace?

Yes. We offer financing through Synchrony Bank, including 0%-interest plans for a set term as well as traditional fixed-interest options. Ask us about current utility and manufacturer rebates.

Do you handle the permit and warranty?

Yes. We pull the required permit and schedule the inspection, and we back the job with a 1-year parts and labor warranty plus a lifetime workmanship guarantee: if an installation error on our part ever turns up, we fix it at no charge. That guarantee doesn't cover manufacturer defects or normal wear and tear; the equipment itself is covered by the manufacturer's equipment warranty.
